Ingredients

Main Base:

  • 1 cup dry quinoa (rinsed)

  • 2 cups ground turkey (lean, cooked and drained)

  • 1/2 apple (cored and chopped, no seeds)

  • 1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

  • 1/2 cup green beans (steamed or chopped raw)

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (plain, not pie filling)

  • 1/4 tablespoon olive oil

  • 🎃 Pumpkin: High in fiber, calms upset stomach, supports stool firmness

  • 🍎 Apple: Source of fiber and vitamins A & C

  • 🌾 Quinoa: A complete protein with all 9 essential amino acids

Instructions

  • Rinse quinoa thoroughly and cook according to package instructions. Let cool.

  • Chop the apple and green beans. Place in large mixing bowl with blueberries and pumpkin.

  • Heat olive oil in skillet, brown turkey until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

  • Combine cooled quinoa and turkey with the fruit and veggies. Mix until well blended.

  • Let mixture cool to room temp before serving.
